The course will cover: Stages of care and liability precautions This course will teach critical lifesaving techniques that will increase the survivability rate of casualties and sustain them until emergency medical personnel arrive. The course will be comprised of a lecture, hands-on practice session and a practical exercise under stress. The course will be held at the Red Dragon Ju-Jitsu Dojo, 2132 Pulaski Hwy. Havre de Grace Maryland on 19 April 2008 from 1300 - 2000. Pre-registration is required so adequate training aids will be available. Registration must be completed by 12 April 2008. Individual Protective Measures Individual Protective Measures
Do you arrive at work early, or leave
after dark? Are you aware of the dangers around you, when you
walk out to your car in a crowded parking lot, or pick your children
up from day-care? This course is taught by a certified anti-terrorism
specialist. The instructor will reveal when and where most unexpected
physical attacks occur. He will also provide you with some useful
self-defense techniques that just might make the difference between
becomming a victim, and escaping an attack. This seminar covers
many of the concepts and techniques offered in both the Self-Defense
and Anti-Terrorism seminars. This seminar will provide students
with an arsenal of proven self-defense techniques to fend off or disable
an attacker. Students will be provided with real-life scenarios
that allow them to master the techniques they learn in a "simulated"
environment. The techniques that are provided are chosen from
the most effective techniques taught in our Traditional Combat Ju-Jitsu
classes. Many are the very techniques that are taught to police
officers and military special operations forces. Techniques provided
range from basic escape and self-defense techniques to techniques against
an attacker armed with a gun or knife. The cane is perhaps the only weapon
that is legal to carry anywhere. This seminar provides instruction
on self-defense techniques using the cane, short staff, long staff,
or any stick-type weapon. This course provides excellent techniques
using Ju-Jitsu holds, locks and take-downs. Anyone will benefit
from the amazing techniques that can be done using this innocent-looking
and legal weapon. This course is also effective for elderly and
physically disabled people that normally carry a cane or walking stick.
The anti-terrorism seminar is a 40-hour
course that provides detailed instruction on counter-surveillance techniques
and includes instruction on performing car-bomb searches. This
seminar expands on the topics covered in the Individual Protective Measures
seminar. The seminar is provided by Sensei Bish, a retired Army
Non-Commisioned Officer and certified Anti-Terrorist Specialist. He
is an alumni member of the 1st Special Operations Group, trained at
the Special Warfare Center and School, Fort Bragg, NC. This seminar
is excellent for corporate executives or anyone that must travel extensively
on corporate or personal business.
