Meet the Sensei
Sensei Bish began his study of Ju-Jitsu in 1969 under the direction of Master John C. Houck While serving in the military Sensei Bish instructed hand-to-hand combat training in addition to individual and small group Ju-Jitsu and Goshin-Jitsu classes. In 1991, Sensei Bish served in the Persian Gulf War, where he was awarded the Army's Bronze Star. Upon returning from the war, Sensei Bish began providing community service, self-defense classes for women and disabled people. In 1994, Sensei Bish completed his training in Oriental Sports Medicine from the Chinese Cultural Center. Sensei Bish retired from the Army in 1995. In 1997 he opened the "Red Dragon Ju-Jitsu" Dojo. He authored and illustrated a training manual for progression through Shodan. He has trained in various styles of Ju-Jitsu to include Yoshinryu, Yoshitsune, and Hakkoryu. In 2001, Bish Sensei was inducted into the United States Martial Arts Association’s Hall of Fame as Master Instructor of the Year.
